This vessel is thrown on the potter’s wheel, by hand. The design pattern is inspired by the Krohn's Conservatory etched glass. We have local greenhouse which dates back over a century and is quite popular. I enjoyed the etched glass pattern. It was both botanical as well as abstract. The pattern is very difficult to sculpt as the decisions to make the line in or out are numerous, as I turn the bowl around and around. This design is very satisfying when complete and the results are unlike other sculpting that I make. This is one of a kind, though the pattern may be repeated, none will look exactly the same in the same shape vessel. One available. Buy now.
